A convenient design: The design should make it easy to transfer a baby from the baby sleeper to your own bed and back again. This is the feature that defines this category. Whether you are retrieving your baby to breastfeed or bottle-feed, or simply to comfort them in the night, a good bedside sleeper or bassinet will keep your infant safely contained while they’re sleeping and will make it easy for you to check on them or take them in and out of the sleeper with minimal disruption to your own sleep and comfort.

A stable and sturdy base:When you have a newborn, you often get up in the middle of the night and can be as clumsy and tired as at any time in your life. To prevent accidents, a good headrest or cradle should be nearly impossible to tip over, trip over, or unintentionally move. Baby sleeper are designed to be physically attached to an adult bed. Baby Bassinets may have a rotating base, wheels or other features that allow you to move them closer to your bed.

An attractive appearance: We considered everything else more important than aesthetics, but we did prefer models that were at least visually neutral and wouldn’t be an eyesore in your bedroom.
